The Munich-based technology company secured the logistics provider as a client for its artificial intelligence platform, which processes incoming transport orders automatically without requiring prior training.
The AI solution extracts relevant information from variously formatted orders and emails, converts them into a unified electronic format, and dynamically assigns them to respective customers. UMS Vision AI's architecture recognizes customer-specific peculiarities and independently incorporates them into subsequent processes, leading to significant automation of core workflows and reducing error sources while delivering substantial time and cost savings through the elimination of interface problems between systems.
The company's growth in logistics automation comes alongside changes in its corporate governance. Manfred Danner stepped down from his position on UMT AG's supervisory board effective September 30, 2025.
